NTPC WR-I Hqs gears up to host Mumbai Regional Round of NTPC Electron Quiz

MUMBAI, SEP 16, 2026: NTPC Limited's Western Region-I Headquarters, Mumbai, is all set to host the Mumbai Regional Round of the prestigious NTPC Electron Quiz 2026-27 on 17 September 2026 at Bharat Ratnam - Mega CFC, SEEPZ Special Economic Zone, Andheri (East), Mumbai.

The quiz, themed "Anything and Everything from the World of Business and Management", invites teams of two students currently pursuing Engineering or Management programmes. With over 100 teams expected, the event celebrates knowledge, analytical thinking, curiosity, and healthy competition among young minds.

On-the-spot registration will be open at Gate Nos. 4 & 5, 6th Floor, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on the day of the event. Participants are required to carry a valid college ID card. There is no registration or participation fee and institutions may nominate multiple teams.

Who Can Participate?

Students currently pursuing Engineering or Management programmes.

Each team must comprise two members.

Individual participation is not permitted.

No registration or participation fee.

Institutions may nominate as many teams as they wish.

The Mumbai Regional Round will begin with a Written Round, followed by an On-stage Multimedia Regional Finale for the top six teams. The top two teams will qualify for the National Level.

Prizes for Mumbai Regional Round:

First Prize: Rs 60,000 per team

Second Prize: Rs 40,000 per team

Third Prize: Rs 20,000 per team

Consolation (4th-6th): Rs 8,000 per team

National Level prizes:

First Prize: Rs 1,00,000 per team

Second Prize: Rs 60,000 per team

Third Prize: Rs 40,000 per team

Consolation Prize I (4th, 5th & 6th): Rs 16,000 per team

Consolation Prize II (Remaining 12 Teams): Rs 8,000 per team

For the Regional Round, travel reimbursement shall be restricted to AC 3-Tier Train Fare. For the National Level, travel reimbursement shall be restricted to Economy Class Airfare. Boarding, lodging and local conveyance for National Level participants shall be provided by NTPC.

Organised since 2004, the NTPC Electron Quiz is one of NTPC's flagship student engagement initiatives, fostering intellectual growth and competitive spirit across India.

NTPC encourages Engineering and Management institutions in Mumbai and surrounding regions to circulate this invitation and motivate eligible students to participate.
