DCI commences maintenance dredging work at Paradip Port

VISAKHAPATNAM, MAY 13, 2021: THE Dredging Corporation of India (DCI) has commenced the maintenance dredging at Odisha’s Paradip Port that will extend into next year.
The project includes the approach channel, entrance channel, turning circle, docks, Mahanadi and sand trap of the Paradip Port Trust.
As per contract, DCI will be dredging 7 million cubic metre by deploying the DCI TSHD Dredge-XX and DCI Dredge-XVII from May, 2021 to mid-March, 2022 for a total contract cost of Rs. 98 crore.
