UP Power Corporation raises Rs 4498 Cr on BSE BOND platform

NEW DELHI, DEC 05, 2017: UP Power Corporation Limited yesterday successfully raised Rs 4498.20 crore on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) BOND platform. BSE has launched the platform for Electronic Book Mechanism “BSE BOND” for issuance of debt securities on private placement basis. BSE platforms for bond issuances have been a preferred choice for companies to raise Debt Capital in India. It has enabled corporate India to raise debt capital of Rs 3,43,386 crore till date.
In this Financial Year 2017-18, till December 04, 2017, 64 Issuers have done 295 issues of bonds and have successfully raised Rs. 1,28,209 crore using BSE Debt platforms.
