SHISH joins BSE SME Platform

NEW DELHI, SEPT 05, 2017: Shish Industries Ltd (SHISH) became 192nd company to get listed on the BSE SME Platform today. SHISH came out with an initial public offering of 13, 52,000 Equity Shares of Rs.10/- Each. SHISH successfully completed its public issue on August 28, 2017. SHISH is a Gujarat based Company whose registered office is at Surat. The company is engaged in manufacturing of plastic twin wall and multi wall corrugated sheets. It also manufactures polypropylene (PP) corrugated plastic rolls.

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) had issued guidelines on 18th May, 2010 for launching of SME Exchange. BSE is the first stock exchange to get the approval from SEBI and launch its SME platform on 13th March, 2012.The 192 companies listed on BSE SME Platform have raised Rs.1500.17 crores from the market and total market capitalization of 192 companies as on 5th September, 2017 is 17,437.94 Crores. BSE is the market leader in this segment with a market share of 73 percent.
